Rotary Slotter Machine is a kind of machine that is used to make different kinds of surfaces, slots, contours, splines, internal grooves and so on by the vertical reciprocating motion of the cutting tools. The main parts of a Rotary Slotter Machine:

Bed or base: It is the foundation of the machine that supports all other parts and takes all the loads and cutting forces.
Column: It is the vertical part that connects the bed and the ram. It also guides the ram during its movement.
Ram: It is the part that holds the cutting tool and moves up and down. The cutting tool removes unwanted metal during the downstroke and returns to its original position during the upstroke.
